Ellie has completed over 60 marathons and ultramarathons. Her first marathon was at Victoria in 2002 and since then she has lowered her personal best to 2:42:15 when she won BMO Vancouver marathon in 2012. Equally happy running on roads and trails, Ellie's career highlights include a win at Comrades 89k race in South Africa, 2 x World 100k champion and course record holder at the Western States 100 miler in California. Originally from the UK, Ellie lives in North Vancouver and works as an online ultrarunning coach.

I’ve since run over 28 ultramarathons, 4 marathons and countless 25km and half-marathons on both road and trails. I love passing on my love and knowledge of the sport to others; whether new to running in general or new to a specific distance. My passion for sports, health and wellness and my educational background in biomechanics help me motivate people to get outside and be active… all in a smart manner.
